Sungdeok Seo, born in Seoul, South Korea in 1983, started his education in Cremona at the international school of violin "Antonio Stradivari" with the masters Alessandro Voltini and Ernesto Vaia.
 
In 2010, after acquiring the diploma, he continued to improve his skills under the guidance of the masters Roberto Cavagnoli, Pedretti Giancarlo, Giuseppe Arrè and Fabrizio Portanti.
 
Giosuè participated in several international violin-making competitions and achieved outstanding results. Also in the future he plans to participate in prestigious competitions.
 
In 2016, Giosuè opened his own workshop in Flensburg and since then, he repairs, restores and produces violins, violas, cellos, and contrabass according to the classic arts of Cremona.
 
He is known for the meticulous work, an exquisite selection of woods, and self manufactured alcohol varnish.

Finalist with a cello at the 8th International Violin Competition

in Mittenwald.

2015   

3rd prize with a cello at the 14th Concorso Triennale internazionale di Liuteria Antonio Stradivari of Cremona.

2013   

Gold medal with a viola at the 7th national competition(Libero) of Pisogne.

Finalist with a violin at the 13th International Henryk Wieniawski violin making competition.

Gold medal with a violin at the 5th national competition(Libero) of Pisogne.

4th prize & prize for "best violin maker aged under 30" with a violin at the 5th international competition of Arvenzis(Slovakia).
